Barcelona Quick Bites & Sweet Treats

Since dessert is one of my favorite meals :) I’ll start with my favorite gelato place in Barcelona; Gelaaati Di Marco Gelato. I tried a few random gelato cafes before I gave up and Google searched for the best gelato in Barcelona, and Gelaaati did not disappoint.

Coffee & Pastries

The best “breakfast” pastry I’ve ever tasted was from Hofmann Patisserie; the mascarpone cream filled croissant. We got coffee and pastries from here every chance we got. Luckily they were right around the corner from our Airbnb! We also made sure to enjoy their other dessert options :)

For lunch we went to Bilbao Berria - this was a fun place for sandwich small plates (tapas). The hostess seats you and then you get to choose from the plethora of sandwich tapas at the counter. In the end you’re charged for the type (determined by toothpick) and amount of plates you ate.

We spent one of the evenings admiring the Barcelona Cathedral from the rooftop restaurant at Hotel Colon. I took pictures of the view, but not the food!

Barcelona has great food options, and there were other places we ate. These were just my favorite quick bites that I documented.
